Pica

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 July 2026

Pica is built independently. We would never want our own privacy violated, so we treat your data the way we would want ours treated: we collect the minimum needed to make the app work, we never sell it, and we never use it for advertising.

Your account

You sign in with Apple. We receive your name (if you choose to share it) and an email address — Apple lets you hide your real one behind a private relay address. This, along with everything you create in the app, is stored securely with Supabase, our database provider.

Your wishlists

The lists, items, links, prices, notes, and photos you add are stored so they can sync to your devices and be shared when you choose. Private lists are visible only to you. Shared lists are visible to the people you share them with, or to anyone with the link if you enable link sharing.

Reservations

When a friend reserves a gift on your list, that reservation is hidden from you — surprises stay surprises. Other people viewing the list can see that an item is reserved so gifts don't get doubled up.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand which features are used so we can improve the app — things like “a wishlist was created”. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not show ads.

Purchases

Pica Premium is purchased through Apple. We use RevenueCat to check your subscription status. We never see your payment details — Apple handles all of that.

Feedback

If you send feedback from inside the app, the content of your message is processed by UserJot so we can read and respond to it.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the app. This permanently removes your account, your wishlists, and your reservations from our systems.

This website

This website does not track you, does not set cookies, and does not ask for any information that could identify you.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. For anything this page doesn't answer, email [email protected].
